Road Notes: Day 176
We decided to stay in Taos for an extra month to explore the area but mostly to catch up on work (long overdue editing and writing). This was a day dedicated (mostly) to the latter. Lauren is sifting through footage of our highly misguided Stiltsville excursion in Miami (up soon). I am ironing out the kinks on the updated website and scribbling on a couple daring pairing articles and trying to figure out how to use a landline telephone again. Rotten Hotline starts this Saturday. Please feel free to call in and ask any questions you'd like. Obviously we're hoping at least a few are booze related but we've certainly accumulated a fair amount of travel advice in the past several months we wouldn't mind doling out (mostly public service announcements that will make our lives easier as full-timers - bad RVers ruin things for all of us). We're also both fucking geniuses so ask us about physics/medicine/law who cares I don't. More info on Rotten Hotline can be found here.

We usually sign off at around 5 or 6 and go do something fun but we decided to plow through tonight and finish our respective projects. We did allow ourselves a couple beers and a bottle of wine to take the edge off. We're now opening bottle #2 and settling in for the night to watch a movie before bed (can you believe Lauren's never seen Sideways?). Good good good night. Hope to hear from a few of you on Saturday.

Road Notes are timed entries—written in thirty minutes or less at the end of each day. Considerations are made for spelling/legibility but not for grammar. Deal with it.
