Road Notes: Day 274
We’ve fallen off the horse here lately. We came to Vegas to settle down and regroup (as one does) and Road Notes sorta fell by the wayside.
Anyhow, some quick updates: we were recently contacted by TasteMade Travel to do some videos for them here in Vegas. We’ve got a few lined up already (including some recuts of previously-shot footage). Our first official shoot is in a few days and will feature a $250 sushi roll. We know it’s not booze-related but they’re paying us well so 💁🏻💁🏼♂️. Maybe we’ll order a High Life or something.
In other news, we bought a scooter today! A 1986 Yamaha CA50 to be exact. She's red and fucking adorbs. For those of you who don’t know, we like motorcycles A LOT. We were actually in the market for another motorcycle (something big we could strap a tent to and take up into the mountains) but Nevada has some dumb laws concerning motorcycle registration. For starters, you have to have a Nevada ID, and since we would both need to take the on-bike motorcycle driving test again to transfer ours we decided to pass on that. Anything under 50cc however is basically treated like a glorified bicycle out here. You don’t even need insurance. We went that route. Also, when it’s time to hit the road again we can easily toss it in the back of Marge. Win. Pics coming soon (it’s dark now).
Anyhow, we’re going to try really really hard to be more consistent with Road Notes. See you tomorrow. I promise. Most likely.
Road Notes are timed entries—written in thirty minutes or less at the end of our day. Considerations are made for spelling/legibility but not for grammar. Deal with it.
